Indian Jack Daniel’s Springfield Dark Horse
This motorbike is developed as a tribute to all the craftsmen who value working with their hands and are loyal to developing products of the finest quality. For year 2019, Jack Daniel’s limited-edition motorcycle maintains the sleek, stripped-down styling of the Indian Springfield Dark Horse along with a number ultra-premium design features that truly make it a one-of-a-kind motorcycle.
Well, this 2019 Jack Daniel’s limited edition will come in two-tone heavy metal crystal and thunder black vivid crystal paint scheme. And bike has wood grain finish with steel gray graphics and a single barrel select.
The other design features includes 12-inch mid-rise ape-hanger handlebars, front and rear crash guards, redesigned saddlebags and custom machined dual-tone wheels. Besides that the limited edition bike has tinted quick-release windscreen, all-LED lighting system with auxiliary lamps. It also gets custom Jack Daniel’s single barrel badging, including the Jack Daniel’s ”Bottles and Throttles Don’t Mix” reminder on the front fender.
The Power
Everybody can see how well dress is the bike, but what about the power to drive such a giant. For the engine, the Jack Daniel’s edition is powered by Indian’s first factory-fitted 1900cc Thunder Stroke Engine. That makes 20 per cent more power and 15 per cent more torque compared to the stock 1811cc motor.
The stock unit produces 161.6Nm at just 3000rpm and works in conjunction with a 6-speed transmission that’s linked to a belt drive. Alongside these power specs, bike rides on cartridge-type inverted forks up front and an air-adjustable monoshock at the rear. Braking power is courtesy of 300mm dual discs up front and a 300mm disc at the rear, with standard ABS.
